Standing Firm Daily Guide

Morning: Focus Your Day on Him

Scripture & Prayer: Read Galatians 1:11-24 and pray for God to use you today, however He sees fit.

Speak Truth: God uses everyone who is willing to be used by Him. No matter where you have come from, God uses the broken to advance His gospel!

Actively Listen: Pay attention to where you can use you today and respond quickly.

Afternoon: Pause and remember all of His grace

Be still: Take 2-3 minutes of silence during a break, lunch, or study hall. Pray, reflect, and talk with Him.

Read Scripture: Reflect on Paul’s past and see how God was able to redeem and use Paul. How has God called you today by His grace to be used by Him? Who does He want you to talk to? Who can you love? Who can you share your hope with?

Pray: “Lord, thank you for accepting me despite my failures and making me new. Thank you for not letting my past define who you are, making me into. Help me to see where you have called me to respond today.”

Evening: Reflect on His path

Identify: How well did you answer God’s call today? Did you follow His path for you, or did you deviate from what He wanted you to do?

Journal: Pick one verse out of Galatians 1:1-24 that stuck out to you the most. Reflect on how you lived today. Asking how you have lived today might lead you to believe you are unable to be used by God. Look through Scripture and find 3 verses that show how God chooses His people, not based on what they do or how good they are, but entirely based on His grace and sovereignty. Now, reflect on how God has already shown you His grace in your life. Continue to memorize Galatians 5:1

Prayer: “Lord, I come before you today understanding who I would be without you. Thank you for redeeming my actions, and I pray that I will be sensitive to Your Spirit more tomorrow than I was today. Remind me that you can use even me if I simply follow you!”
